FINCA DRC is hiring a highly motivated, ambitious, and trustworthy and “make it happen” attitude candidates to join our growing Internal Audit Team as Senior IT Auditor.

The Corporate Audit Manager for managing the audit processes will operationally and functionally supervise the Senior IT Auditor.

The Senior IT Auditor will perform specific audit procedures that include testing, evaluation and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes with a focus on the Information System (IS). The Senior IT Auditor shall participate in audit planning, execution and reporting of findings as well as follow up to ensure audit recommendations, management corrective action plans, Board of directors’ remarks and resolutions are correctly implemented.

Responsibilities:

- In charge of engagements in the field, leading a team in planning, managing and executing IS Audit engagements, within a risk based environment efficiently and effectively;

- Acting as a role model and mentor for less experienced members of the team providing on the job training and developing, through evaluation and counseling, talented team members

- Delivering projects on-time and on-budget

- Identifying and effectively dealing with risks

- Maintaining high quality and professional standards.

Qualifications:

- MSc degree in one of the following area: IT, finance, economics, banking, mathematics or quantitative sciences

- Experience from an IT consulting, system integration or software house company with focus on risk or finance in banking industry; or risk / finance / accounting department in a microfinance or a bank accompanied with an experience in risk or finance software implementation

- Knowledge of one of the following processes: credit risk management, financial reporting, financial instruments valuation and accounting will be highly appreciated

- Proven track of successfully completed IT audit projects in the field of risk or finance in the banking industry will be highly appreciated

- Working knowledge of SQL / relational databases and/or commercial risk management solutions

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English is the business language)

- Certified Information system auditor (CISA, Cobilt, etc.) or similar qualification is an important asset

- Real drive and enthusiasm to work in a team, as well as exceptional commitment to client service

Travel requirements

- Availability to travel within or outside the countries (average 60% of travel local and international)

1. EXPERIENCE

•   4 ans d'expérience de travail en audit informatique est préférable ; cependant, une expérience en affaires/opérations peut être considérée
•     Connaissance pratique des processus commerciaux et financiers et des contrôles internes, des normes IFRS, IPPF et IIA
